F1-Forecast PrizesThe winner of F1-Forecast 2013 will receive a 3-day ticket for a GP in Silver Grandstand. The second will receive a 3-day ticket for a GP in Bronze Grandstand. Both will be able to choose among all the GP of the calendar of the F1 season 2014.

F1-Forecast 2013 : Game Rules


 

The web site F1-Forecast (http://www.f1-forecast.com) presents a free game about the prediction of the Formula 1 results for the races of the season 2013. The contest is subjected to the following rules.

 

Article 1 - PRINCIPLES OF THE FORECAST COMPETITION

Article 1.1 – Each player who subscribes to the game F1-Forecast 2013 using the section "Sign On", implicitly agrees the present rules in its entirety without reservations.

Article 1.2 – The forecast contest allows each subscriber to forecast for free on the results of the FIA Formula 1 races for all the season 2013 (Qualifications, Race and Best Lap in Race).

Article 1.3 – The game comprises as many rounds as races in all the season 2013 (see section Season 2013). In case of a race cancellation by the FIA, the corresponding round will be cancelled in the F1-Forecast 2013 contest. Nevertheless, F1-Forecast reserves the right to cancel one or several rounds in the game without explanation.

Article 1.4 - Everyone may participate this F1 competition game whatever his resident country.

Article 1.5 – The game consists in choosing drivers suggested in a list. Each player can predict the first three (3) drivers of the starting grid, the first  ten (10) drivers of the race and the driver who will perform the best lap in race.

Article 1.6 – After each race, the player can gain points according to the results of the qualifications and the race (see article 2). Rankings will be calculated and the best players will be able to receive prices (see article 3).

Article 1.7 – Each player can submit forecasts as much as he wants while the forecast limit time is not reaching. So, a player can submit all the predictions he wants but the system will keep the last forecast submitted for the calculation of points.

Article 1.8 – The forecast time limit is 5 minutes before the scheduled beginning of the Qualifications. Countdowns are available on the forecast pages giving the remaining time before the closing round.

Article 1.9 – The player must imperatively use the game forms which are available for each round in order to submit their forecast. No other way can be used.

Article 1.10 – All the forms for each race are available from the beginning of the season. A player can submit his predictions for all the races he wants.

Article 1.11 – A player who wants to take part in the game F1-Forecast 2013 needs first to register using the appropriate section.

Article 1.12 – Only a registered player can access to the forecast area.

Article 1.13 – Each registered player can create a group, invite other players to join his group or join an existing group.

 

Article 2 - RACE RESULTS & GAINING POINTS

Article 2.1 – The qualifications and race results used for the calculation of the gaining points will not take into account of the possible disqualifications and/or relegations decided by the FIA.

Article 2.2 – The points gained by each player will be calculated as follow :

For the qualifications :

A driver predicted at the right position : 25 points

A driver predicted with 1 position difference : 18 points

A driver predicted with 2 positions difference : 15 points

A driver predicted among the 3 first but who is not among the 3 first in the qualification ranking : 0 point

For the race :

A driver predicted at the right position : 25 points

A driver predicted with 1 position difference : 18 points

A driver predicted with 2 positions difference : 15 points

A driver predicted with 3 positions difference : 12 points

A driver predicted with 4 positions difference : 10 points

A driver predicted with 5 positions difference : 8 points

A driver predicted with 6 positions difference : 6 points

A driver predicted with 7 positions difference : 4 points

A driver predicted with 8 positions difference : 2 points

A driver predicted with 9 positions difference : 1 point

A driver predicted among the 10 first but who is not among the 10 first in the race ranking : 0 point

The driver who drives the fastest lap during the race correctly predicted : 6 points.

 

Article 2.3 – The gaining points for the qualifications, the race and the best lap will be added in order to define the ranking for each race.

Article 2.4 – A general ranking of all players will be edited by adding the points gained for each round.

Article 2.5 – A general ranking of the groups will be published based on the average calculated with the points scored by the members of the group.  If some members  of a group do not score points (0 point), they will not be taken into account for the calculation. Only groups with at least 5 players will be ranked in the general ranking of the groups.


Article 3 - PRIZES

Article 3.1 – F1-Forecast will offer prizes after the 19 rounds of the season 2013. On no account, F1-Forecast will be under the obligation to offer prizes to players.

Article 3.2 – The general ranking will be the reference to define the awarding of prizes.

Article 3.3 – In case of equality between players, the player who has submitted his forecast earlier in the time will be ranked first.

Article 3.4 – F1-Forecast will contact the winners of prizes by email. The winners will have to answer within 1 month. If a winner does not answer in this period time, the prize will be offered by F1-Forecast for another edition of the game.

 

Article 4 - RISKS, LIMITATIONS & CANCELLATIONS

Article 4.1 – The participation in the game F1-Forecast 2013 means that the player knows and agrees the specifications and limitations of Internet, more particularly concerning the performances, the lack of protection for some data against hijacking and the risks of contamination by possible viruses which goes around the internet. Consequently, F1-Forecast cannot be hold responsible for (non exhaustive list) :

The transmission of data,

The possible breaks in servers,

The breakdowns in player’s computer or phone and cable lines

The loss of data

All the consequences due to a virus or a computer problem

All the technical breakdowns which prevent or limit the capacity to play the game F1-Forecast 2013

Article 4.2 – F1-Forecast can cancel, interrupt or modify the game due to uncontrollable events which would make the game impossible to maintain. 

 

Article 5 - RULES ACCEPTANCE

Article 5.1 – By subscribing to F1-Forecast, each player accepts without reservations all the articles of the present rules.
